VJC Studio ("we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information in PocketTune (the "App").

2.1 Locally Stored Information (Device Only)
- Project Data: Music projects, patterns, and instrument settings created by you
- App Settings: Tutorial completion status, premium purchase status, monthly export count
- Project Metadata: Project names, creation dates, update dates, app version
All this information is stored locally on your device and is never sent to external servers.
2.2 In-App Purchase Information
- Purchase History: Premium version purchase status (managed by Apple's servers, not directly accessed by us)
2.3 Advertising-Related Information (Free Version Only)
If you have not purchased the Premium version:
- Advertising Identifier (IDFA): May be collected by Google's advertising network (AdMob) for personalized ad delivery
- Device Information: Device type, OS version, IP address (for ad delivery)
- Ad Interactions: Number of ad impressions and clicks
When you purchase the Premium version, all ads are removed and advertising-related data collection stops.
3. How We Use Information
We use collected information for:
3.1 Providing App Functionality
- Saving and loading music projects
- Maintaining app settings
- Enabling premium features
3.2 Ad Delivery (Free Version Only)
- Displaying banner and interstitial ads
- Ad personalization (opt-out available)
3.3 Service Improvement
- Resolving bugs and issues
- Developing and improving new features (we will notify you in advance if implemented)
4. Information Sharing and Disclosure
4.1 Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services:
- Apple App Store: For in-app purchase processing
- Google AdMob (Free Version Only): For ad delivery
4.2 Legal Requirements
We do not disclose or provide your personal information to third parties, except in the following cases:
- With your consent
- When required by law
- When necessary to protect life, body, or property
4.3 Data Transfer
The App does not send your music project data to external servers. All project data is stored securely on your device.
5. Managing Ads and Tracking
5.1 Opt-Out of Personalized Ads
If you do not want personalized ads, you can adjust your settings:
- iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising → Turn off Personalized Ads
- Purchase Premium Version: All ads are completely removed
5.2 App Tracking Transparency (ATT)
On iOS 14.5 and later, the app will request your permission before accessing the advertising identifier (IDFA). If you deny permission, the app's core functionality remains available, but non-personalized ads will be shown.
6. Data Storage and Deletion
- Local Data: Project data is stored in the device's Documents folder
- Data Deletion: Uninstalling the app automatically deletes all local data
- Advertising Data: Advertising-related data follows AdMob's data retention policy
- iCloud Backup: If iCloud backup is enabled, project data may be backed up
7. Security
We implement the following security measures to protect your personal information:
- All project data is stored within the iOS sandbox and cannot be accessed by other apps
- Network communications are encrypted (HTTPS) only during ad delivery
- Project data is not sent to external servers
However, we cannot guarantee complete security of communications over the Internet.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not intentionally collect personal information from children under 13. Parents should supervise their children when using the App.
9. California Residents' Rights (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights:
- Right to request disclosure of collected personal information
- Right to request deletion of personal information
- Right to opt-out of the sale of personal information
The App does not sell your personal information.
